Spring opening 2015

This is how the kayak season should be started! Two weeks raining made the mighty Vantaa river flood in beautiful(?) chocolate colour. Vanhankaupunginkoski is a perfect park'n'huck destination in a city! And a good class IV rapid - really looking for the boater cross competition next Sunday! (iceBreak 2015)

Also Myllykoski some 30 kms further upstream is worth trying at the peak flow. This is where the "coughing in the eddy" -season starts next Saturday! (Myllykoski Bigwater Festival)
